This exhibition was funded by Leeds City Council, HLF and Arts Council England and presented in conjunction with The Imperial War Museum and The University of Bolton. It is a collaboration between writer Mary Cooper and myself and curator Lucy Moore and is based on our research and development into re-animating the museum collection for 21st century audiences. It opened the Centenary events in Leeds and was displayed from 4th to 31st August 2014 at Leeds City Museum. The links below contain 2 short films. The first is a view from just before the opening of the event on 4th August 2014. The second is a copy of the multimedia show reel Mary and myself created, using narrative, actors voices, film, graphics and photography that was presented to over 20,400 people who visited the display over the period.
